See Our Ethnic Costumes...in the Great American Melting Pot
A special thanks to Ed and Bobbie Chasteen who have collected ethnic costumes over many years during vacations, educational trips and mission trips. The Chasteens graciously loaned us these items for our musical.
Thank you to Loulla Esthathiou who was born in Greece, came to this country as a teenager and is a retired science teacher from Liberty Public schools. Loulla has traveled to India many times where she works with a group of Christian Free Schools to improve the education they provide to some of the countries poorest children. Loulla has loaned us several items from India, Mexico and Russia.
Helen Hays and her late husband George were missionaries in Japan for 22 years. For the majority of this time, they lived in Fukuoka, on the southern island where they taught at Seinan Gaquin, a university. A special thank you to Mrs. Hays who loaned us two Kimonos.
