Mrs. Savage has inherited ten million dollars by her late husband but her eager step-children want to get their hands on it. When they have her placed in a sanitarium, she discovers various social misfits who need the help she can provide. In a world that seems at times to be motivated by greed and dishonesty, this comedy leaves the audience feeling that the virtues of kindness and affection have not been lost entirely.
