Shutterfly Information Shutterfly is a photo sharing site I utilize to maintain the original photos taken at Liberty activities. Shutterfly provides space to keep these photos indefinitely and they do a nice job with printing the images. Their prices are reasonable and they have frequent sales on larger formats (8x10 and larger). I usually upload all of the photos to Shutterfly because it is simple, there is more space available, and viewers of libertybluejays.com do not want long download delays of higher resolution photos. When time allows, I put some of the photos up at libertybluejays.com but they are much lower resolution and will not print as well as the originals on Shutterfly. There is no fee to join Shutterfly and once you are a member you can transfer any of the photos to your own account. Any prints you order are sent where you choose. You may also upload your own photos to the site so others may enjoy and print your photos. Because there are posters and photos containing last names of some students, there is a password on the Shutterfly account. The password is getting pretty well known by directors, coaches, parents and performers/athletes but it is not readily available for the entire world wide web. If you would like the address of the Shutterfly account and the password to access it, let me know. If you ever feel there is information that should not be accessible, let me know and I will remove it. The only disadvantage for me with Shutterfly is I do not know when anyone looks at photos there or when they order photos. If you go there, leave an occasional comment so I know someone is enjoying the photos. As soon as we can train Foster Sires to use our camera, we'll have photos from every Liberty schools event! Until then, if you would like photos taken from your activity, give me a holler. I won't do official team photos, etc. I'll leave that to David Dice and the rest of the professionals who know what they are doing. It's just a hobby for me and the other fans who upload to the site. Thanks for all of your great performances in Fine Arts and sports. The community appreciates your hard work and we love to watch the results. Bill |
