Liberty Shines at Metro
Kansas City Model UN Conference
Liberty capped off a stellar season by winning numerous awards last week at the
Metro Kansas City Model UN conference, including an outstanding delegation award
for the country of Slovakia.
Individual winners include:
General Assembly: Outstanding Delegates-Max Mikitish and Ethan
Poe
Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Committee: Honorable Mention-Bridget Beebe;
Outstanding Delegate-Sam Tabory
UNESCO: Honorable Mention-Jeni Schwandt; Outstanding Delegate-Elizabeth
Roberts
Reformed Security Council: Honorable Mention-Sarah Backhaus and Scott
Jordan; Outstanding Delegate-Danny Shanaberger
Security Council: Honorable Mention-Luke Plesko; Outstanding Delegate-Stephanie
Moore
In addition, Luke Plesko, Ashleigh Bartlett, Ethan Poe, and Stephanie
Moore all won outstanding position paper awards.
